It has been reported that unknown persons have stolen a Quad Bike from within a shed which they have broken off the lock to.

Burglary - Shed Break

Between 30/09/2021 - 04/10/2021 20:30 - 18:00 On Ashley Road Weston By Welland Kettering unknown person/s have entered forced open a shed door by unknown means and have removed items from within.

Incidents of cold calling

Police officers are warning residents in Kettering and Corby to be wary of 'Nottingham Knockers' after reports that they've been operating in the two towns.

'Nottingham Knocking' is a scam where individuals sell items from door to door at inflated prices, being transported together into an area by their employers. It can also be used as an opportunity to scout homes for potential burglaries.

Reports of Distraction Burglary

The Police have had reports that there are people going door to door selling cloths and other sundry items, and some have claimed that this is on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch.

Neighbourhood Watch in Northants do not do this, and do not support any organisations doing this on Neighbourhood Watch's behalf.
