Have you seen this engagement ring?

Heartbroken member of the public is calling on residents in the hope that her engagement ring that holds over 40 years of memories may have been found

It is believed a ring similar to this may have been lost in either Wilbarston Sports Field, or in the lay-by outside it in January

Our year 6 children moved on to new schools and it was lovely that during their exit questionnaires they told us that we had achieved our vision of giving them key skills and leaving with happy memories of their time with us. Local Government Reform - Government Decision

The Secretary of State has today issued his formal decision in relation to the future structure of local government, with a written statement to The House.

In short, the government decision is: -

1. To replace the current arrangement with two new Unitary Councils (one for the north, one for the west).

2. The implementation date is 1st April 2021.

Highways Closure - A427 Dingley, Brampton Ash, Stoke Albany, Wilbarston, East Carlton and Corby

Northamptonshire Highways are planning to carry out carriageway works along the A427 between Corby and the County Boundary. To undertake these works safely will require that the road is closed for up to three nights from the 18th March.

As a result of the resignation of Cllr Georgina Royle a vacancy has arisen on the parish council. Formal notice will be given on 28 February and following a stipulated period either an election will be called, if requested by sufficient electors, or the council will be able to co-opt.
